Four years have passed since the first International Gathering of the Clans took place in Scotland and since then a second similar gathering has taken place in Nova Scotia. It is our privilege to launch this ninth issue of the Clan magazine in the Year of the Scot, 1981 coinciding with the International Gathering, Scotland. We have again attempted to strike an even balance between historical and current events regarding the content and trust that you, the readers, will find that we have succeeded. We wish to thank most sincerely all those who have contributed articles and photographs, and also those who have contributed financially or taken advertising space, without whose support, during the present recession, this issue could not have been published. |
